Emergency Response Team
The Milolii CERT was formed in 2010 to assist in disaster situations in the Milolii area
of the Big Island of Hawaii. Living in a remote area as we do, we have always relied on
each other for help and support. By establishing a CERT in the Milolii area we hope to
enhance our ability to assist our friends and neighbors in a disaster situation until
professional first responders can arrive on the scene. We currently have 6 members
that have been trained and certified. But, we need more volunteers in order to be
effective.
